TRON Energy
priced in USDT, not TRX.
1 USDT buys 600,000 Energy — enough to cover roughly 10 standard USDT (TRC-20) transfers without burning TRX. The price is fixed in USDT, so it doesn't move when TRX does. No wallet connection, no private keys, no KYC — just your public address and a message to our team on Telegram.

Why rent instead of burn
TRX price moves.
Our price doesn't.
Burning TRX for Energy means your fee floats with the TRX market. Buying Energy from TronGas Shop is priced in USDT, so the cost of a transfer stays predictable no matter what TRX is doing that day.
| Scenario | Energy | Burning TRX | Buying from TronGas Shop |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single transfer (existing wallet) | ~60,000 | ≈13.4 TRX | 0.10 USDT |
| Single transfer (new wallet) | ~130,000 | ≈27 TRX | 0.22 USDT |
| 5 transfers | ~300,000 | ≈67 TRX | 0.50 USDT |
| 10 transfers | ~600,000 | ≈134 TRX | 1 USDT |
| 50 transfers (business) | ~3,000,000 | ≈670 TRX | 5 USDT |

Questions
Everything about TRON Energy, our USDT pricing, ordering, and safety.
- TRON Energy basics
-
Energy is the resource the TRON network uses to pay for smart contract execution, including TRC-20 token transfers like USDT. If your wallet has Energy, the transfer draws from it instead of burning TRX from your balance.
-
Bandwidth pays for the size of a transaction on-chain; Energy pays for smart contract execution. A USDT transfer needs both. TRON grants a small amount of free Bandwidth daily, but Energy is the larger cost and what TronGas Shop supplies.
-
USDT on TRON is a TRC-20 token, which means sending it runs a smart contract rather than a simple TRX transfer. Running that contract consumes Energy, so every USDT send requires Energy or TRX to cover it.
-
The network converts the missing Energy into a TRX burn instead — typically around 13.4 TRX for a standard transfer, or about 27 TRX if the recipient wallet has never held the token before. If you don't have enough TRX, the transaction fails.
-
It's the error TRON wallets show when a transaction needs more Energy than the sending account has, and the account also lacks enough TRX to cover the difference. Buying Energy ahead of time from TronGas Shop avoids this error.
-
Roughly 60,000 Energy when the recipient wallet already holds USDT or another TRC-20 balance. This is the figure our headline rate is based on: 600,000 Energy per USDT covers about 10 of these transfers.
-
About 130,000 Energy — roughly double the standard amount — because the recipient's token account has to be created on-chain for the first time. Use the "New wallet" option in our calculator to see the exact price.
-
Yes. Energy is a general TRON network resource, not specific to USDT — it covers any TRC-20 transfer or smart contract call, though the exact amount consumed can vary slightly by token and contract.
-
Yes, since those also run smart contracts on TRON that consume Energy. More complex contract calls can use more Energy than a simple transfer, so message us on Telegram if you want a quote for a specific interaction.
- Pricing
-
1 USDT buys approximately 600,000 Energy — enough for around 10 standard USDT (TRC-20) transfers to wallets that already hold the token.
-
About 10 standard transfers at roughly 60,000 Energy each, assuming the recipient wallet already holds a TRC-20 balance. New (empty) wallet transfers use about double, so the same 600,000 Energy covers roughly 5 of those.
-
TRX's market price moves throughout the day, which makes a TRX-burn cost unpredictable. Pricing Energy in USDT keeps your transfer cost stable and easy to plan for, regardless of what TRX is doing.
-
TRON grants Energy to accounts that stake TRX. TronGas Shop maintains a pool of staked TRX and delegates the Energy it generates to customers, which is more efficient than every individual wallet burning its own TRX for occasional transfers.
-
Our smallest listed package covers a single transfer at 0.10 USDT. Message us on Telegram if you need a smaller or more specific amount and we'll see what we can do.
-
Yes. Our business package covers 50 transfers for 5 USDT, and we can quote larger or recurring volumes directly — message us on Telegram with your expected monthly volume.
-
We don't have a public self-serve API yet. For exchanges, payment processors, or bots that need programmatic or recurring Energy delivery, message us on Telegram to discuss a custom integration.
-
Ask our team on Telegram — payment options can vary, but the quoted price is always fixed in USDT regardless of which asset you pay with.
- Ordering & delivery
-
Use the calculator on this page to estimate the amount you need, then tap "Order on Telegram." Our team will confirm the exact price, take payment, and deliver the Energy to the address you provide.
-
Orders are handled by our team, typically within a few minutes during active hours. You'll receive confirmation on Telegram once the Energy has been delegated to your address.
-
Delegated Energy typically remains available on your account for a period after delivery, but we recommend sending your transfer soon after confirmation to be safe. Ask our team for the exact window at the time of your order.
-
Message our team on Telegram with your transaction details. We'll help you understand what happened — for example, whether the transfer used more Energy than expected — and work out next steps together.
-
Unused Energy generally isn't refundable once delivered, since the delegation itself is an on-chain action. Let our team know if this happens and we'll see what options are available.
-
If Energy hasn't been delivered yet, yes. Once it's delegated to your address on-chain, the service has been performed, so refunds are handled case by case — message our team if something went wrong.
-
Look up your address on TronScan and check the Resources tab — you'll see the delegated Energy listed there once it's live. We'll also confirm on Telegram once the order is complete.
- Safety & trust
-
No. You only need to share your public TRON wallet address — the one starting with "T" that anyone can see on TronScan. There's no wallet connection step involved in ordering.
-
Never. TronGas Shop only ever asks for your public address. No legitimate Energy provider needs your private key or seed phrase — treat any request for one as a scam.
-
Yes. A public TRON address is meant to be shared — it's how anyone sends you funds or delegates Energy to you. It carries no access to your funds on its own.
-
No. We never take custody of your USDT or TRX balance. You pay us for a Energy delegation service; your funds stay in your own wallet throughout.
-
No. TronGas Shop is an independent third-party Energy rental service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the TRON Foundation.
-
Energy delegation is a standard, publicly documented TRON network feature used by many legitimate services. As with any purchase, use standard caution and follow the rules that apply in your own jurisdiction.
-
Always start from trongas.shop directly and use the Telegram link shown on this page. Be wary of unsolicited messages claiming to be us, and never share a private key or seed phrase with anyone claiming to represent TronGas Shop.
- Wallets & compatibility
-
Any TRON wallet works, since we only need your public address — TronLink, imToken, TokenPocket, Trust Wallet, Ledger with TRON support, and others are all fine.
-
No. You just need your existing TRON wallet (for its address) and Telegram to place your order. No browser extension, app, or software installation is required on our end.
-
Yes — Energy can be delegated to any TRON address, including one you don't personally control, as long as you provide the correct address to our team.
-
No. Energy applies to your wallet address on the TRON network itself, regardless of where your USDT originally came from.
- Background
-
TRON Proposal #104, passed in August 2025, cut the network's Energy unit price roughly in half — reducing the standard TRC-20 transfer burn from about 27 TRX to about 13.4 TRX. It's a network-level change, separate from TronGas Shop's own USDT pricing.
-
Our rate is reviewed periodically, but any given order is quoted and locked in USDT terms at the time you order — so once you have a quote, that's the price you pay.
-
You can — it works, but the network burns that TRX at whatever price Energy costs that moment, which floats with the market. Buying Energy from TronGas Shop locks in a fixed USDT cost instead.
-
Yes, TRON lets any account stake TRX for Energy directly. That makes sense if you send very frequently and want to hold TRX long-term; for occasional transfers, buying Energy on demand from TronGas Shop is usually simpler and cheaper up front.
-
USDT (TRC-20) is our most common use case, but Energy works the same way for other TRC-20 stablecoins and tokens on TRON. Message our team if you're sending something other than USDT.
-
Message us directly on Telegram at @trongasshop_support — that's the fastest way to get a quote, place an order, or ask a question that isn't covered here.
